Pomeranian ICT Cluster Interizon

President of the Management Board of the Interizon Foundation, the coordinating organization of Interizon – a Polish National Key Cluster. For over a decade, he has been involved in managing international and R&D projects and in fostering cooperation between academia, business and public administration.

He actively contributes to initiatives supporting the development of the ICT sector, advanced technologies, innovation and entrepreneurship. He is a member of the Economic Advisory Team to the Rector of Gdańsk University of Technology and the Economic Council of the Fahrenheit Union of Universities in Gdańsk. He also represents the Interizon Cluster in the Pomeranian Cooperation Network in the field of Advanced Technologies in Manufacturing and Services, as well as in ICTeam, an expert group supporting the Polish ICT sector operating under the Ministry of Digital Affairs.

As an expert at Exento, the technology transfer company of Gdańsk University of Technology responsible for the commercialization of research results, he participates in the evaluation of R&D projects. He is also actively involved in supporting startups and young innovators as a mentor in acceleration programmes, startup initiatives and hackathons, cooperating with organizations such as the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone, Gdańsk Science and Technology Park and other institutions supporting innovation and entrepreneurship.

A patent attorney and expert in intellectual property protection and innovation development. She specialises in the preparation, implementation and finalisation of projects, including international ones, involving collaboration between multiple partners, as well as securing funding for R&D activities.

She gained her experience, amongst other things, in the local government administration of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, where she participated in the creation and implementation of policies supporting innovation and research and development activities. She has collaborated with businesses, universities and business support institutions, developing initiatives to strengthen the regional innovation ecosystem.

As a mentor in numerous accelerator programmes, she supports the development of start-ups and is also involved in working with students, helping them to develop their skills and translate ideas into concrete implementations.

She advises on commercialisation and the development of IP strategies, using her knowledge of new technologies and project experience to effectively bridge the gap between the worlds of science and business.

A member of the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics at Gdańsk University of Technology (Gdańsk Tech) and Coordinator of the University’s Digital Technologies Center. He actively collaborates with European industry through numerous large-scale research and development projects, including Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe initiatives, focusing on areas such as IoT systems, Industry 5.0 technologies and unmanned systems (UxV). To date, he has participated in 15 such projects with a combined budget of nearly EUR 20 million.

He is a European and national expert in IoT, artificial intelligence, 5G/6G systems, embedded systems and dual-use technologies. His expertise has contributed to the development of relevant strategies at the European Commission and European Defence Agency (EDA) levels. In 2026, he launched the world’s only NATO DIANA Living Lab, established in response to the Alliance’s need to accelerate the adoption and development of dual-use technologies.

He has been actively involved in the development of the INTERIZON Cluster since its early days. A member of the INTERIZON Cluster Council continuously since 2009, he also serves as Coordinator of the Research, Development and Innovation Section, Leader of the “Autonomous Vehicles” Task Force and Leader of the “Dual Use” Task Force. He co-authored the INTERIZON Cluster Development Strategies for 2019–2024 and 2025–2030. As a member of both the INTERIZON Foundation Council and the INTERIZON Cluster Council, he contributes to defining the Cluster’s strategic development priorities, strengthening international cooperation and initiating new R&D projects.

He also has extensive experience in strategic initiatives supporting the ICT sector, including activities related to the Smart Specialisations of Pomerania and the Entrepreneurial Discovery Process (EDP). He has participated in defining, reviewing and updating the scope of the region’s Smart Specialisations, contributing to the development of regional innovation policy and fostering cooperation between businesses, research institutions and public administration.

A researcher at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics at Gdańsk University of Technology (Gdańsk Tech), Department of Microwave and Antenna Engineering – D.Sc., Ph.D., Eng., University Professor. He was one of the key initiators behind the establishment of the Pomeranian ICT Cluster, now known as the INTERIZON Cluster.

He has extensive experience in industry collaboration through national and European research and development projects in the field of wireless communications, including IoT systems and Industry 5.0 technologies. His activities combine academic expertise with the practical development and implementation of innovative technological solutions in cooperation with industry.

From 2020 to 2023, he served as Chair of the AP/AES/MTT Joint Chapter of the IEEE Poland Section. He was also a member of the Rector’s Committee for Innovation at Gdańsk University of Technology in 2025–2026. Since 2020, he has served as an expert of the Committee on Electronics and Telecommunications of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN).

A graduate of the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics at Gdańsk University of Technology (Gdańsk Tech), with a degree in Automation and Robotics. He also has an educational background in production management, including Control and Management of Lean Manufacturing in Network Systems.

He has gained extensive professional experience at Flextronics International Poland Sp. z o.o., where he has held a number of managerial and executive positions, including Test Engineering Manager, Head of Flex School and Six Sigma Site Champion, Operations Director, and Senior IT Director.

He has extensive experience in leading large-scale projects and building international teams responsible for developing innovative technical solutions. For several years, he has also managed global and regional programmes focused on implementing innovative solutions based on information technologies.

He was a member of the Initiative Group responsible for establishing the Pomeranian ICT Cluster, now the INTERIZON Cluster. He has served as a member of the Cluster Council throughout its 1st–8th terms and currently serves as Chairman of the INTERIZON Cluster Council.

An entrepreneur, manager and expert in industrial automation, robotics and advanced technologies. A graduate of the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics at Gdańsk University of Technology (Gdańsk Tech).

He is the co-founder, co-owner and President of the Management Board of TMA Automation Sp. z o.o. In 2010, together with Piotr Orlikowski, he established the company at the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park in Gdynia. Under their leadership, TMA Automation has grown from an innovative startup into a leading provider of customised industrial automation and robotics systems, specialising in In-Mould Labelling (IML) technologies and solutions for the plastics processing industry. In 2026, the company relocated its operations to a modern “Robot Factory” in Gdańsk, located near Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport.

In 2022, he successfully led the strategic integration of TMA Automation with the Austrian ENGEL Group, a global leader in injection moulding machines and plastics processing technologies. Following the transaction, he and his business partner retained an ownership stake and an active role in the company’s management. Today, he is responsible for business development, growth strategy and market expansion.

For many years, he has been actively involved in developing the innovation and digital transformation ecosystem in Pomerania. He has been associated with INTERIZON – the Pomeranian ICT Cluster – since its establishment, supporting cooperation between business, academia and public administration, as well as the development of advanced technologies and innovative projects.

He also serves as a member of the Economic Area Development Council at the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone, where he contributes to shaping regional economic development, supporting business innovation and strengthening the competitiveness of companies and the investment ecosystem in Pomerania.

Since 2020, Łukasz has been providing strategic consultancy and advisory services to companies, helping them achieve success in the market. Since 2014, he has led numerous workshops on the implementation of modern technologies, the launch of new services and products, requirements analysis and engineering, as well as the implementation of artificial intelligence. As a consultant, he has collaborated with investment funds on the evaluation of new technologies. He has also gained experience by participating in accelerator programmes, where, as a mentor, he has supported start-ups from Argentina, Chile, Estonia, India, Ukraine and Armenia, advising them on operational management and organisational culture.

A technology manager, security architect and cybersecurity researcher with over 15 years of experience in embedded and hardware security, cryptography, secure communications and cyber-physical systems. He currently serves as CTO at R&D B4Future Sp. z o.o. and Chief Security Researcher at Enterosoft Sp. z o.o., where he is responsible for technology strategy, threat and risk analysis, secure-by-design architectures, prototyping and R&D activities.

For more than a decade, he worked in the defence sector, leading a team developing security and cryptographic solutions for radio communication and specialised communication systems. He has participated in national, European and NATO-related R&D initiatives carried out in environments with demanding security, reliability and resilience requirements. His expertise covers cryptographic modules, hardware security mechanisms, firmware security, key management, vulnerability analysis and certification-oriented engineering, including Common Criteria and FIPS-related requirements.

He has more than ten years of project management experience and extensive practice in leading R&D teams. Combining engineering, research and business perspectives, he translates complex cybersecurity requirements into practical product roadmaps, technology demonstrators and research-industry partnerships.

Within INTERIZON, his goal is to build a practical cybersecurity ecosystem that enables Cluster members to develop secure, certifiable and competitive products and strengthens their ability to participate in major national and international R&D projects.

His priorities include establishing a dedicated Cybersecurity Task Force as a permanent cooperation platform for companies, academia and public administration; developing a shared map of competencies and needs; and building a joint agenda for cybersecurity initiatives. He also aims to initiate national and international consortia within programmes such as Horizon Europe and Digital Europe, as well as regional funding schemes.

Another key area is the development of cybersecurity living labs and testing environments for OT/ICS, embedded systems, IoT, AI, hardware security, post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and secure communications, with particular consideration for the needs of SMEs. He also intends to foster workshops, consultations and matchmaking activities focused on secure-by-design approaches, risk management, certification, regulation and cybersecurity commercialisation in response to emerging challenges, particularly those arising from regulatory developments and the rapid advancement of AI.

His objectives also include developing Cluster-wide frameworks for assessing components, suppliers and software, strengthening crypto-agility, and supporting organisations in preparing for the transition to post-quantum security.

Since 2010, she has been running PRAECEDO ISK Law Firm in Gdańsk, providing legal advisory services to businesses, with a particular focus on intellectual property and civil law. She specialises in contracts with international partners, as well as complex implementation projects involving new products, services and multi-level cooperation. Her approach combines comprehensive legal support with innovative solutions at the intersection of law, business and technology.

She has been involved in the development of the INTERIZON Cluster from its earliest stages. In 2007, she contributed to analyses of the Cluster’s potential and possible models of cooperation, and in 2009 participated in developing its legal structure. Since then, she has continuously provided organisational and legal support for the Cluster’s activities, development, operating model and internal transformation.

She provides ongoing legal advice on INTERIZON’s internal matters, including the functioning of its governing bodies and relations between Cluster members, as well as on initiatives and projects carried out independently or in cooperation with national and international partners. Her work supports partnership building, knowledge and technology transfer, implementation projects and R&D initiatives.

She is actively involved in developing innovative initiatives and designing appropriate legal frameworks that enable new ICT solutions to be tested and implemented in practice. Combining legal expertise with an in-depth understanding of cluster organisations – and as an author of publications and studies on cluster-related topics – she supports the development of competencies, innovation in processes and products, as well as the internationalisation of INTERIZON and its members.

She also contributes to strengthening the Cluster’s potential, visibility and expert position, including the development of professional communication, brand recognition and its presence in the wider innovation ecosystem.

Her advisory work focuses on building organisational potential and know-how, protecting intellectual property and developing good practices in areas such as ESG and CSR. She is also involved in creating educational initiatives aimed at developing future-oriented competencies, recognising the role of INTERIZON as a mature model of business cooperation built on synergy between companies, academia and other stakeholders within the innovation ecosystem.
