The aim of the project is to support the integration of Ukrainian businesses into EU value chains and to develop cooperation between European and Ukrainian clusters and business network organisations. This initiative will contribute to building the capacity of clusters, professionalising support for SMEs and strengthening economic ties between regions, whilst also supporting economic growth through innovation in the field of e-health.

The EUkraineCoop project aims to harness the potential of telemedicine to address healthcare challenges and stimulate economic development in Ukraine. Through a systematic approach divided into two phases and three work packages, the project aims to establish stronger cooperation between EU partner regions and Ukraine, ultimately leading to improved health outcomes and increased economic prosperity.
In its initial phase, the project focuses on understanding the Ukrainian context and addressing the identified challenges through a rigorous peer review process. This involves analysing local conditions and organising peer review meetings to examine specific issues and propose feasible solutions.
By drawing on the expertise of carefully selected experts and engaging local stakeholders, the project aims to develop recommendations and an action plan to effectively address the identified challenges. Subsequent stages of the project focus on capacity building among partner clusters and supporting entrepreneurial activity.
Through intensive capacity-building activities, both individual staff members and partner institutions will develop their skills and competencies, which will contribute to improving the quality of services provided and strategic development.
Furthermore, the project will support the development of entrepreneurial activity among cluster members by creating a shared knowledge base, strengthening business cooperation, organising networking events and study visits, and establishing mentoring programmes. Thanks to its strategic focus on telemedicine, EUkraineCoop will act as a catalyst for the development of value chain linkages between businesses in the EU and Ukraine.
By integrating telemedicine technologies, partner clusters will strengthen their technical capabilities, expand market access and foster innovation, ultimately leading to improved quality and accessibility of healthcare.
