PThe ICT Pomeranian Cluster functions as a partnership - mutual laws and responsibilities are regu-lated by the "Partnership agreement in terms of the ICT Pomeranian Cluster" signed in Gdańsk on October 29th 2009.
The Pomeranian region constitutes an important center for the country's development concerning the ICT industry. However, in order to constantly strengthen its position, the industry must not only adjust to the changing conditions.
The National Key Cluster (KKK) is a cluster of significant importance for the national economy and high international competitiveness.
The concept of Smart Specializations aims to identify areas with high potential.
The Interizon Foundation, coordinator of the Interizon ICT Cluster, is launching TechSynergy Pomerania 2025—an initiative aimed at fostering collaboration between entrepreneurs and key stakeholders of the innovation ecosystem within the areas of the National Smart Specialisations (KIS). The event will take place on 16 December 2025 at the Gdańsk Science and Technology Park.
Project Objective: The project aims to support the integration of Ukrainian enterprises into EU value chains and foster collaboration between European and Ukrainian clusters and business network organizations. This initiative will contribute to cluster capacity building, the professionalization of SME support, and the strengthening of economic ties between regions. Key Project Information:Program Budget: €3,000,000, with only 6 projects selected across the EU.Project Consortium: HUMAN.TECHNOLOGY STYRIA (Austria – Coordinator), INTERIZON (Poland), MEDIKLASZTER (Hungary), RIVNE IT CLUSTER (Ukraine).Total Project Budget: €554,692, with €499,222 in funding. The I3HIES project aims to enhance health innovation ecosystems to optimize the effectiveness of the healthcare sector and facilitate efficient international collaboration among key innovation stakeholders. The innovation actors participating in the I3HIES community will be supported i) to prepare innovation investments by facilitating and tutoring the innovation process from ideation through business case design till the preparation for funding, and ii) accelerate the development of validated innovation investments in the thematic priorities, and ii) to enhance interregional cooperation and participation in interregional partnerships and contribute to EU value chains.The immediate goal is to validate 15 project ideas, establish 3 European partnerships and develop the most promising mini-business cases into concrete investment plans, thereby supporting the ongoing transformation of the healthcare sector.
The DESIRE Eurocluster project has been launched on September 1st 2022 and will last 36 months. It is composed by 1 business support organisation and 4 clusters from Austria, France, Romania and Poland. It will address the challenges that SMEs face when accessing the European eHealth and Digital Health Market in order to build resilience and facilitate green and digital transition.In order to reach its objectives, DESIRE will:- Set up a Collaboration Platform as cooperation model involving 100 relevant actors among health care industry, clinical users, health care providers, care sector, private & public health care insurance institutions, government & authorities- Set up a Service Provision Forum as virtual collaboration space and an additional Market Channel hosting information, matchmaking, consultation and trainings- Organise 12 collaboration events targeting SMEs, investors and health industry actors;- Organise 150 bilateral consultation meetings with stakeholders- Organise 4 webinars as trainings for cluster managers to build up capacities and know-how- Create 37 resilience preparedness business continuity plans (1 annotated model RPBC-plan, 1 transnational and 35 SME RPBC plans). In addition, DESIRE will provide a mentoring program (including financial support) to 35 innovative SMEs selected through a Call for application in order to identify at least 15 new-to-company product/service innovations and to adopt 10 business process innovations.The project is funded by the European Union. Previously, he was working as a Project Manager at Gdansk University of Technology. He has over seven years of experience in infrastructure field such as management of 20 GUT investment projects. During his career history, he focused on EU financed and ICT projects. From 2014 he is responsible for Interizon Cluster administration and external projects. From 2015 he is the Chairman of the Intelligent Interactive Systems Smart Specialization board
